1)What CUCINA RINALDO wants to make.
Nice to meet you♪
I am Satomi, the representative of CUCINA RINALDO, which is a small little company, just me and my husband (Rinaldo) who is from Florence.
It was in October 2006 that I returned to Aya Town, Miyazaki Prefecture, where I grew up, with Rinaldo and my eldest son, who was just before two years old.
The following year, 2007, we opened the Italian natural food shop CUCINA RINALDO.
This year, 18 years have passed since then.
A lot has happened in the last 18 years, but what Rinaldo and I decided to do and have been doing since the beginning of our business,
1) Use only natural seasonings
2) Use local products as much as possible
3) Use organic or pesticide-free & chemical-free cultivated products as much as possible
That's it.

2)Why do we care about additive-free products?

Rinaldo gets sick when he eats food with additives.
He has been very sensitive to taste since he was a small child.
When his mother tried to get him to eat cheese and ham from the supermarket, he stubbornly refused.
Then, when he was able to drive his own car, he started driving around the Tuscan countryside on his own, buying and eating handmade, additive-free cheese and ham and being impressed by how delicious they were!
Unlike him, before I got to know Rinaldo, I used to eat food with additives without thinking about it.
But since we started dating, I naturally stopped eating food with additives, and after a year of marriage, my tongue and body have changed.
When I occasionally ate food with additives, my body started to react in a way that my throat felt kind of weird, I felt sick, I had wipes...
I have been also less prone to illness, and even if I do get sick, I have been able to avoid serious illness.
3)We want to offer people “Real Italian Home Cooking”

Unfortunately, even in Italy, especially in cities such as Florence, people usually buy ready-made food from supermarkets, but in the countryside you can still eat time-consuming, homemade dishes.
Rinaldo's mother was also a good cook, and he naturally learnt how to make ravioli and tortelli, meat and bean dishes, which she made by hand from dough.
To bring his mother's Italian home cooking to the people of Japan, using organic and naturally grown ingredients and only natural seasonings.
This has been Rinaldo's and my desire since the beginning.
Your tongue will be pleased when you eat food made with only natural seasonings.
Also, vegetables and fruits grown organically or naturally will fully assert their flavour with a simple seasoning, without any strange tricks.
